Nokia Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 pictures leaked

On Monday, we reported on the Nokia Lumia 520 and Lumia 720, respectively known as the Fame and Zeal. They both appeared in log files over at AdDuplex and in earlier leaks, with the information being tweeted by Alan Mendelevich, who reported on seeing some additional Nokia devices earlier today. Now the ever-faithful @EVLeaks has released two images purported to be of the Lumia 520 and 720, which you can see after the jump.

The image featured above is said to be the Lumia 720, the number of which you can see in the upper-right hand corner of the pictured device. According to past leaks, the handset is said to feature a large 4.3-inch display, as well as a 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM. Users will have a decent 8GB of internal storage space, as well as a 6-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixel camera on the front.
This second picture is said to be of the Lumia 520; as with the other image, you can see the device’s number in the upper right corner of the pictured device. This handset has lower-end specs than the 720, with a reported 4-inch display, as well as a 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM. Internal storage space is also the same with 8GB, but the rear camera is smaller at 5-megapixels and there is reportedly no front camera.
Other devices that were mentioned by Mendelevich earlier this week and today include a Lumia RM-914, which is the 520, the RM-885, which is the 720, as well as an RM-887 and 860, the latter of which may be a Lumia 920. Also spotted was an RM-892 from India, and a RX-108, which is a Windows 8 device that could be the long-rumored tablet many would like to see from the company.

LG’s first flexible OLED phone due before the year is out

LG plans to launch a flexible OLED smartphone before the end of the year, the company’s VP of mobile has confirmed, though it’s unclear to what extent the work-in-progress handset will actually flex. The OLED panel in question is the handiwork of LG Display according to VP of LG mobile Yoon Bu-hyun, the WSJ  reports, with the proposed device set to launch sometime in Q4. LG Display’s work on flexible OLEDs has been underway for some time, though the company’s efforts have perhaps been overshadowed somewhat by rival Samsung’s YOUM development. Last year, according to a Korea Times report, LG Display was preparing for
Flexible displays are the Future of IT Industry! A part from 4k and smart home appliances, the CES 2013 saw a lot of attention being drawn towards bendable, flexible displays. The elasticised display idea isn’t something new as we have seen hoards of device concepts being crafted around flexible, bendable and even foldable displays. These concept devices give us a futuristic feel, be it a flexible phone to be worn around the wrist or a phone that opens up to turn into a tablet or PSP-like device. But how far is this future? Nokia has been toying with the idea ever since we remember. The technology sounds very fascinating and the possibilities and the extent to which bendable displays could be used are vast and leave us spellbound. However, these have always been concepts and we haven’t seen any device materialise in the real world. There have been several technologies that were conceived in these years and all have been put to their practical use. But the bendable d
