Microsoft announces Skype Lite for poorly connected countries

The Android app is only 13MB in size and is optimized for 2G and unstable network connections, Microsoft says on its Skype Lite website . The lightweight app allows for both Skype chats and SMS messaging, as well as video calls. Microsoft says Skype Lite was "built for India," but it's feasible the company will roll out the app to other countries with poor mobile connectivity for large parts of their populations.

You Can unlock your Windows 10 device using your Samsung Smartphone soon

So far, the Samsung Flow app on Windows 10 only lets Galaxy TabPro S users unlock their device using a Galaxy smartphone’s fingerprint reader. But this will soon change. A Samsung support representative who responded to a customer on the Google Play Store review said that the Samsung Flow app would soon be released for all Windows 10 PCs that would allow owners of Samsung Galaxy devices, unlock their PCs with their phone’s fingerprint readers.The feature that is currently only limited to the Galaxy TabPro S.

Jio is No Longer But Almost Free From March

Mumbai: After March 31, Jio will be a paid service, says Mukesh Ambani. But Jio will offer the most affordable rates, he says. Ambani says that hundreds of new plans have been launched by other telecoms and that has created a lot of confusion. But with Jio, he says, there is no confusion. After March 31, Jio will match each and every plan that other operators are offering or will offer at the same rate but with 20 per cent more data.   1.  Rs 99 per year will get the Jio Prime membership. This is only available to existing Jio users. Also users who join Jio network will be eligible for the Prime membership. 2- Once you are a Jio Prime member, you will be able to pay Rs 303 per month and get the same free Jio services that you get now. This means unlimited data (subjected to 1GB FUP limit per day) you will get for a price of Rs 303 per month for 12 months. Looks like a quite neat deal if you like Jio network.    3- The voice calls will continue to be free.
